Product Description

Over 15 billion cork wine stoppers are produced worldwide every year. These natural cork coasters are made from the remnants of the wine cork production process and cork trees (no need to kill a tree to reuse its cork). Coasters are made from high-density FSC-certified cork. The cork oak tree is a slow-growing tree that may live for 200 years, which allows it to be stripped, on average, 16 times during its lifetime. Harvesting does not harm the trees and uses no machinery. Made in Portugal. These coasters protect furniture and are absorbent and durable.
