2021 Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a special day for activism. It’s always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It is said to be a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world”. #GivingTuesday. We work to help better the world and our communities and for this reason, today, we – Eco Promotional Products, Inc. have given to the following charities to support global and local community causes.

The Smile Train. Providing safe and quality cleft surgery and care for millions of children around the world. A baby with a cleft is born every 3 minutes. These babies can experience isolation and often face prejudice in their communities. No child deserves to feel like an outcast. Our donation today will help fix 2 “broken” smiles. Learn more: https://www.smiletrain.org/

The Lake County Haven. Lake County Haven is a social-service agency dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless women and children. We use education, employment, and life-skills training to help people move from homelessness to independence. Throughout this process, our goal is always the long-term stability and self-sufficiency of each person. Our donation covers the expenses for the night of April 22, 2022 (we also covered April 22, 2021) earth day. Learn more: https://www.lakecountyhaven.org/

Chill Foundation. Chill has served more than 25,000 young people since the program began, working with approximately 3,000 youth annually.  They work with social service agencies, mental health agencies, foster care programs, juvenile justice programs, and schools in local communities to select youth participants.  Everything is provided to the youth at no cost. They focus on the resiliency of their participants to help them reach their full potential and see that there is a path out of their current circumstances. Their current situation doesn't have to define them or determine their path in life; Chill helps them to realize alternatives beyond the struggles they face. Our donation is being used and allocated as needed, nationwide. Learn more: https://www.chill.org/

Trees For The Future. To end hunger and poverty by training farmers to regenerate their land. The Forest Garden Program is a simple, replicable, and scalable approach with proven success. How? It starts with trees. Through their 4-year training program, called the Forest Garden Approach, farmers plant thousands of trees that protect and bring nutrients back to the soil. This helps farmers grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. Forest Garden farmers gain increases in income and access to food, even in the first year, all while improving the environment. Our donation helped to plant 1,000 food forest tree seedlings. Learn more: https://trees.org/
