Cover Imprint Options

EPP has a variety of eco-friendly spiral and perfect bound notebook and journal options with full color digital imprints. Fully customized journals do not have to be cost prohibitive. This budget-friendly, USA made recycled pocket notebook features an edge-to-edge, all over full color imprint on the front and back cover and comes with a choice of blank, lined, or dot grid paper. Larger varieties of the recycled pocket notebook are also available, as well as many other journal options.

Many customers prefer the sophisticated look of debossed imprints. Debossing is when the design is pressed into the surface of the cover. On most of our debossed journal options, such as this FSC-certified hardcover journal or custom Moleskine journal, there is no defined imprint area. A logo can be traditionally placed center on the cover and can also be done in any size anywhere else on the notebook. Customers often choose the top left or bottom right corners for a subtle imprint.

Journals with gel dome imprints will have recipients talking about their high-end journals. Gel domes are epoxy decals applied over a debossed cover for increased adhesiveness, creating one-of-a-kind designs. This decoration option is only available on select journals with rigid covers.

Most promotional notebooks have lined white pages. Custom journals come with many more interior paper options. Many customers, especially art schools, prefer other options such as dotted or blank. Kraft colored interior pages are available on select notebooks. For a truly unique look, all pages of a notebook can have grayscale or phantom filler. Each sheet is printed in the same black and white grayscale. This is a great option for events with many sponsor logos printed on every page. In addition to common, identical filler, we can also custom-print filler with different content on each page (uncommon filler). This includes adding unique quotes, images, and information throughout a journal. Other interior paper upgrades are black and white filler pages like calendars, to-do lists, and gratitude/wellness pages.

Tip-in or Tipped-in Pages

A tipped-in page or insert page is a page that is printed separately from the main text of a book but then attached to the book.  These are often found in hard cover books, especially memoirs, where the author likes to include full color photographs, artwork, or illustrations. Just like in a book, journal recipients are drawn to the information on full color tip-in pages. Available on select journals, full color, glossy tip-in pages can be a single page, bi-fold, or tri-fold.
